Erma L. Feddersen, 92 - January 03, 2013
Erma L. Feddersen, 92, of Lexington passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington.Services took place on Monday, Jan. 7, at the Evangelical Free Church in Lexington with the Rev. Duane Russell officiating. Burial was conducted at the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.
Feddersen was born Dec. 5, 1920, at Cozad to Earl E. and Autumn L. (Parkin) Bennett. She grew up in the rural Eustis/Farnam area.
She was united in marriage to Wilbert Feddersen on Aug. 10, 1940, at Kearney. The couple resided in the Buffalo area. Her husband died Nov. 16, 1967, and she then moved to Lexington in 1968.
Feddersen was employed at Monroe Auto in Cozad as well as being an Avon representative for numerous years.
She grew very close to her Avon customers and enjoyed their visits together, according to family members. She also enjoyed flowers, taking care of her yard and being with her family.
Feddersen was preceded in death by: her husband, Wilbert; parents, Earl and Autumn; her daughter, Bonnie; sister, Vivian; an infant sister, Eva; eight brothers—Vern, Virgil, Donald, Melvin, Mervin, Keith, Bob and Clinton.
Survivors include: her two sons—Ray “Bud” (Dorothy) Feddersen of Lexington and Jerry (Peggy) Feddersen of Gothenburg; a sister, Lila “Peg” Brown of Gothenburg; 10 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice.
