Buelah Norris, 74 - October 12, 2012
Buelah Edith Norris, 74, of Cave City, AR, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at a Batesville hospital.Graveside services took place Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Maxville Cemetery, north of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home.
Norris was born March 6, 1938, at Taylor, to Oscar and Sylvia Dishman.
She spent her life as a homemaker and was employed at Cave City Nursing Home and at a Batesville poultry plant.
Norris was a member of the Eastside Southern Baptist Church of Cave City.
She enjoyed spending time with her huge family, according to family members.
Norris was preceded in death by: her parents, Oscar and Sylvia; four brothers—Loran Dishman, Grant Dishman, Willie Dishman and Edward Dishman; two daughters—Sylvia Jean Norris and Sue Alan Norris; a granddaughter, Tracy Huckabee; two great-grandsons—Aaron Huckabee and Karson Norris; two great-granddaughters—Shelby Norris and Ashley Norris.
Survivors include: her husband, William Franklin Norris of the home; four sons—Billy Ray Norris, Laddy Lee Norris, James Dean Norris and Gene Alan Norris, all of Cave City; a step-daughter, Kathryn Ann Norris of California; two sisters—Hazel McKnight of Grand Island and Carol Shultz of Cozad; four brothers—Henry Dishman, Gary Dishman, Delbert Dishman and Aladian Dishman, all of Gothenburg; 19 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives.
