James Breedlove, 38 - November 07, 2007
James Breedlove, 38, of Gothenburg died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Gothenburg.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel of Gothenburg. Burial will take place at a later date.
Breedlove was born June 27, 1969, to James Martin and Linda Denice (Floyd) Breedlove, at Denver, CO. He attended Gothenburg schools, graduating from Gothenburg High School in 1988.
Following graduation, he entered the U.S. Army on Sept. 11, 1989. After being honorably discharged, he returned to Gothenburg and worked in the restaurant industry. In July of 2002, he began working at McDonald’s restaurant, where he became a crew trainer.
Breedlove was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, working with computers, photography and reading books as well as observing the birds of the sky, according to family members.
?He was preceded in death by: his father, James; both grandfathers and his paternal grandmother.
?Survivors include: his mother, Denice Breedlove of Gothenburg; a sister, Carmen Breedlove of Gothenburg; a brother, Justin (Tia) Breedlove of Council Bluffs, IA; Jean Kaiser of Beloit, WI; an aunt, Dianne Wilcox of Council Bluffs; two nephews—Jamie and Jason.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Raptor Recovery Nebraska, 27320 Adams, Elmwood, NE 68349.
