Evelyn Nichelson, 93 - November 28, 2007
Evelyn Augusta Wagner Nichelson, 93, died on Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at Gothenburg.
Services were held Monday, Nov. 26, at the Brady Community Bible Church with the Rev. Larry Viter officiating. Burial took place at the Gaslin Cemetery at Brady.
Nichelson was born in May of 1914 to Paul and Freda Bloomburg Schilling at Stanton.
She lived in several different location including Stanton, Broadwater and Brady in Nebraska, Torrington, Jackson and Kemmerer in Wyoming, Magna and Brighan City in Utah and Black Forest in Colorado.
In 1937, she was united in marriage to Milo Wagner, who preceded her in death. She then married Donald Nichelson in 1981.
Nichelson worked as a clerk at Wagner’s Woodcraft and also as a housewife.
She was a member of the IOOF at Torrington and the Lion’s Club at Brady.
Nichelson enjoyed raising plants and crocheting as well as collecting salt and pepper shakers and spoons, according to family members.
?She was preceded in death by: her parents, Paul and Freda; her first husband, Milo Wagner; her second husband, Donald Nichelson; two grandsons; a great-granddaughter.
?Survivors include: her two sons—Bob (Helen) Wagner of Cheyenne, WY, and Vernon (Arline) Wagner of Saratoga, WY; her three daughters—Wanda (Richard) Eckhardt of Mesquite, NV, Mary Ann (Paul) Fink of Shoshoni, WY, and Sharon (Bob) Smith of Great Falls, MT; three brothers—Barney, DeWayne and Dennis Shilling; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Gothenburg Hospital Long Term and the Brady Community Bible Church.
