Tammy Anderson, 58 - May 08, 2017


Tammy Jo Anderson, 58, of Gothenburg passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, at her home in Gothenburg following heart complications.
Services took place at Evangelical Free Church on Tuesday, May 16, with Eric Most officiating. Burial was at the Gaslin Cemetery at Brady.
Anderson was born July 24, 1958, at Callaway, daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Zablotny) Morse. She grew up on a farm south of Arnold where she gained her passion for horses, according to family members.
Her family then moved to Cozad where she graduated from Cozad High School with the Class of 1976.
On May 26, 1989, she married Milan and resided at Gothenburg since that time. She was a long-time employee of Monroe’s.
Anderson loved riding her horses and spending time with her family and friends especially on their porch on their acreage, the family stated. She loved to worship the Lord and shared her passion for the Lord to anyone that would listen—truly living for Jesus.
She felt she was given a second change at life when she received a heart transplant on Aug. 24, 2015, stated family members.
?Anderson was a member of the Crossing Fellowship.
?She was preceded in death by: her father, Kenneth Morse; father- and mother-in-law, Oscar and Dorothy Anderson.
?Survivors include: her husband, Milan Dean Anderson of Gothenburg; her daughter, Lacy (Scott) McVay; two step-daughters—Becky Dishman and Deanna (Fred) Starr; her son, Nathan Topinka; nine grandchildren—Christopher, Seth, Kaden, Alec, Brett, Ryleigh, Joey, Keegan and Nolan; a great-grandchild; special friends—Heather (Nick) Barnes, and Morgan and Hattie; her mother, Mary Ann “Mimi” Morse; four brothers—Bernard (Carmen) Morse, Mark (Karmen) Morse and Kent (Mary) Morse, all of Cozad, and Bill (Lynnette) Morse of Grand Island; numerous extended family members.
Memorials are suggested to The Crossing Fellowship Building Fund.
