Tulsa Flies, 35 - May 08, 2014Tulsa Flies, 35, of Ravenna, formerly of Brady, died Thursday, May 8, 2014, as the result of a vehicular accident at Verona, ND.
Services were conducted at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 13, with the Rev. Tammy Aubushon officiating. In honor of his country life, casual dress was requested. Interment took place at the Peckham Cemetery at Gothenburg.
Flies was born May 6, 1979, at North Platte, son of Roy and Elaine (Aubushon) Flies.
He lived in Humbolt from age 2 to 6, then resided in the Brady and Gothenburg areas until 2004.
Flies graduated from Brady High School and worked as a truck driver. He most recently lived in the Ravenna area.
He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He was baptized and confirmed in the United Methodist Church.
Flies enjoyed spending time with his kids whom he was so proud of, said family members. He also enjoyed hunting, riding horses and his pets.
?He was preceded in death by: his grandpa, Willard Aubushon; grandparents, Wayne and Willa Flies; an aunt, Linda Kuhlman; uncle, Bill Flies.
?Survivors include: his parents, Roy and Elaine Flies; his son, Trenton Flies, daughter, Riggin Flies; three brothers—Travis (Angela) Flies, Tony (Michelle McQuade) Aubushon and Donnie Flies; his girlfriend, Lacy Ienn; grandmother, Bonnie Glo Aubushon; numerous extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for a trust to be established for Trenton and Riggin, 826 D St., Shelton, NE 68876.
