Janet Miesbauer, 69 - February 03, 2014Janet Miesbauer, 69, of Gothenburg died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg.
Services will be conducted at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel on Thursday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Viter and Robert Litzenberger officiating. Interment will be at the Gothenburg Cemetery.
A visitation will take place at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel of Gothenburg on Wednesday, Feb. 5, from 1 to 8 p.m.
Miesbauer was born Nov. 16, 1944, at Arnold, daughter of Archie and Ora (Bailey) Hubbard.
She grew up in the Brady area and attended schools at Brady, graduating with the Class of 1963.
Miesbauer resided at Brady, Arnold, Orleans, Cozad and Washington. She was employed as a cook and played in a country-western band.
Miesbauer loved country music and was a Elvis Presley fan, according to family members. She also loved spending time with her family and grandson as well as hanging out with friends.
?She was preceded in death by: her parents, Archie and Ora; her son, Paul Wayne Miesbauer; two brothers—Glenn Hubbard and Byron Hubbard; a sister, Beverly; brother-in-law, Pete Hoaglund; sister-in-law, Dorothy Hubbard; a nephew, Bob DeMilt.
Survivors include: her two daughters—Laura Miesbauer and Peggy (Keith) Pflaster, all of Gothenburg; a grandson, Lance Miesbauer; sister, Susie Hoaglund of Gothenburg; sister-in-law, Carol Hubbard; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
