Becky Darnall, 67 - April 08, 2009
Services were held on Friday, March 27, at the United Methodist Church of Farnam with the Rev. Tess Hufford officiating. Burial took place at the Farnam Cemetery.
Darnall was born on April 4, 1941, at Langston, AL, to Verlene Bynum.
On Oct. 17, 1958, she was united in marriage to Glen “Honker” Darnall. The couple made their home at Cozad and later moved to Eustis where they raised their children.
She and her husband moved to Farnam in 1982 where they lived the rest of their married lives. Her husband had preceded her in death in 2005.
Darnall was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Farnam Library Board, and was an avid volunteer for the American Red Cross Bloodmobile.
She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, gardening and sewing, and especially enjoyed attending the Farnam morning coffee club, according to family members.
Darnall was preceded in death by: her husband, Glen; her mother, Verlene; grandparents; a brother-in-law, Billie; nephew, Craig; special friend, Michael Beachel.
Survivors include: her daughter, Tammy (Richard) Allbright of Cozad; two sons—Fred Darnall (companion, Patricia Beachel) of Gothenburg, and Eddie Darnall of Cozad; seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild; special friend, Malinda (Steve) Isenberg of Hickman.
A memorial has been established.
