3 Swedes medal at CNFL #2 meet
Two varsity members and a novice on the Swede speech team took first place honors at the second Central Nebraska Forensic League contest Saturday in Grand Island.
Josh Clark continued his winning ways in extemporaneous speaking while Ashlee Bruntz took the winner’s circle for the first time this year in entertainment speaking.
Freshman Jon Rehmert scored his first win of the year in the novice division of extemporaneous speaking.
Overall, speech team advisor Dan Jensen was pleased with how the Swedes performed.
This Saturday, the team hosts its own invite in Gothenburg.
