Holsten makes it four in a row at Wild Horse

Jeff Holsten continued his domination of the Wild Horse Golf Course club championship tournament Sunday winning his fourth straight title.

Holsten carved out a three-stroke victory with a 73. Mike Nichols was the runner-up with a 76.

Tyler Bullock also scored a 76, but placed first in the second flight. Dan Yancy was second with an 82.

Winning the third flight was Jeff Harm with an 85, followed by Roger Callan with an 88.

Kasey Bogus had the low score in the fourth flight with an 82, just one stroke ahead of runner-up Ross Ristine.

A scorecard playoff gave Wade Geiken first place honors in the fifth flight after both he and Robert Schwanz shot an 87.

Low scorer in the sixth flight was Craig Haake with a 90. Tim Peterson was the runner-up with a 94.

Jim Bebensee won the silver tees flight with an 84. Ed Pelzer was next with a 93.

A total of 38 golfers competed in the tournament.
