Brady trustees want public input
Village board members of Brady would like to hear more input from the public.
Todd Roe, vice president of the board suggested that the public could learn and hear about what is going on in the village and voice concerns or support for the board’s decisions at monthly meetings.
“I have a firm belief that it’s the responsibility of the community members to question and demand answers of any decision we as a board make,” Roe said. “(The way) for the public to be informed about our decisions, and to support or question those votes, is to attend our monthly meetings.”
In recent meetings few people from the public have attended to address issues.
“There is nothing wrong with people calling me. I don’t mind talking about what is happening,” Roe said, “but a better solution can be made if the concerns are voiced to the entire board.”
The next Brady Village Board meeting is next Wednesday, Feb. 12, in the community center at 7 p.m.
“I would love to have to set out chairs because more room is needed,” Roe said. “It’s the responsibility of both parties to have joint communication.”
Board meetings are the second Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m.
