GMH Construction Crew: The Sampson Construction crew, which is building a doctor’s clinic at Gothenburg Memorial Hospital, was recognized Oct. 5 for having the safest work site in the company during August based on clean and safe inspections.Officials said there have been no injuries since the project started in May.
Workers at the site were chosen for the award from 39 work sites throughout Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado in August. An average of about 30 workers a day are on site through the week. To celebrate the recognition, the local crew was treated to a barbecue lunch.
