Pirates of the Platte come to Gothenburg

Harvest Festival 2009.
SAILING DOWN LAKE: Gothenburg Cub and Boy Scouts won the top prize for organizations in Saturday’s Harvest Festival parade on Lake Avenue. With the theme “Pirates of the Platte,” youngsters decorated their ship and themselves with all of the pirate trimmings including parrots in the crows’ nests.
