Gothenburg students attend National FFA Convention

The Gothenburg FFA Chapter sent eight members to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., the week of Oct. 23. To start the week off members visited Warm Springs Ranch, located in Booneville, Mo., where the group learned about the raising of and caring for Clydesdale horses. They arrived in Indianapolis on Tuesday, Oct. 24, after some sightseeing at the St. Louis Archway, the Old Cathedral of St. Louis, and the Old Courthouse of St. Louis, where the Dred Scott Case was held.

Four members of the Gothenburg FFA Chapter were also selected to perform at the National FFA Convention. Selected for the National FFA Chorus were Margeaux Belanger, Emma Jorgenson, and Jocelyn Kennicutt; and selected for the National FFA Band was Madeline Jorgenson.
