Joy is: Finding a rock

In the midst of media filled political mud-slinging, name calling and accusations, there has arisen a movement to rekindle acts of human kindness and compassion. One of the latest trends in displaying random acts of kindness involves the use of something as simple as a rock.

The painted rock project came to the attention of the staff at The Times when a rock was discovered neatly tucked into the bushes near the front door of the office. The front of the rock states, “You Are Enough”—on the back is painted #TheKindnessRocksProject.
