Lady Swedes survive against Valentine

The Lady Swedes were in action against a Badger team that sometimes plays better than their 1-15 would have you believe. The fans in attendance would surely get their moneys worth. This was an exciting game from the start as Valentine came out strong on the offensive side of the game.

“We knew there at the end they were going to be physical with us on defense and try to either put us on the line or turn it over...It finished with a huge hustle play to foul her before she could get to the layup...Number 24 is a really good player, she was the reason it was a close game and we were lucky the ending went our way, but I thought it was two teams that fought really hard, which made for a really good game,” were some of coach Miller’s thoughts of how the game turned out
