Nutritional Edge shared at Brady High School

 

With all of the modern era’s technology and training techniques for athletes, one of the most vital aspects to achieving top performance, is often overlooked. Your food and nutrition intake. What you eat everyday has a big impact on performance. The right kind of snack or meal before a game can increase concentration, reduce injury, maximize energy levels and optimize performance.

Dawn Weatherwax, RD, CSSD, LD, ATC, CSCS., and founder of SN2Go., has been helping athletes for the last 20 years to gain an edge and continue their careers all the way up to the professional level. She shared a portion of what she has learned over the years with a group of Brady students and athletes Aug. 10, at Brady High School. With her help she has helped the athletes improve their times in track and running events, as well as increasing their maximum performance level.
