Regina Kramer, 47 - July 27, 2011
Regina “Gina” Marie Kramer, 47, of Kearney, formerly of Gothenburg, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Services will take place at Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, Aug. 6, at 2 p.m. with Jim Gonzales, PMA, and the Rev. James Reier officiating. Interment will be at the Gothenburg Cemetery.
A visitation will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Kramer was born Aug. 1, 1963, at Homestead, FL, raised by her parents Lester and Elizabeth (Hite) Puls.
She attended school in Gothenburg graduating from Gothenburg High School.
Kramer attended college at the University of Nebraska at Kearney where she earned a degree in social work. She was employed as a counselor/social worker.
On Sept. 18, 2010, she was united in marriage to Michael Kramer at Kearney.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Lester and Elizabeth Puls; her biological father, Raymond Schumacher; an infant son, Brandon Ostendorf.
Survivors include: her husband, Michael D. Kramer of Kearney; a son, Jason D. Ostendorf of Virginia Beach, VA; a daughter, Nicole L. Ostendorf (fiancé Benjamen) of Kearney; step-son, Alex Kramer of Des Moines, IA; her biological mother, Mary Eidet of Beverly, KS; two grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Lantz of Des Moines; brother-in-law, Gary Kramer of Des Moines; former husband, Jerry G. Ostendorf of Amherst.
