Devin Charles Anderson, 36, of Amherst and Kearney, formerly of Gothenburg and Maywood, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Omaha.
Services were held Tuesday, Aug. 3, at the Maywood Community Hall with the Rev. Dale Heimer officiating. Interment took place at the Maywood Cemetery.
Anderson was preceded in death by: a cousin, Janae Lenz; a niece, Bridgette Anderson; grandparents—Raymond and Alberta Knight and Clarence Alma Anderson; step-grandfather, Melvin Brown.
Survivors include: his mother and step-father, Alice and Gordon Brown of Maywood; father, Edward (Loretta) Anderson of Sun City, AZ; a brother, Buddy (Donna) Anderson of Gothenburg; sisters—Debra (Kevin) Anderson of Cheyenne, WY, and Cyndra Johannsen of Kearney; step-grandmother, Ellen Brown of Curtis; 10 nieces and families—Amanda (Raymond) Carlson, Erica (Justin) Mullings, Amber Lynn Morris, Torrie Lynn Johannsen, Ann (Deacon) Howell, Jennifer (Derreck) Furse, Angela (Clifford) English, Cheri (Eddie) Mayers, Candy (Richard) McClain and Angel Anderson; two nephews and families—Elliot James Johannsen and Adam (Shannon) Nelson; numerous great-nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles.
