Lloyd Gengenbach, 82 - February 21, 2007
Lloyd William Gengenbach, 82, of Brady, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, at Gothenburg Memorial Hospital.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the American Lutheran Church of Gothenburg with the Rev. Matthew Groenke and Lonna Grabenstein, parish ministry associate, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Floral Lawn Cemetery of North Platte.
Gengenbach was born to William F. “Bill” and Martha (Hueftle) Gengenbach, on Sept. 25, 1924, at Eustis. He was raised and attended high school in Eustis, and in 1941, the family moved south of Brady.
On April 19, 1952, he married Delores Gamble at Sterling, CO. The couple lived in the Brady area where they farmed and ranched.
He was a charter member of the Brady Lion’s Club, a member of the Brady Rural Fire Board, the Brady School Board, American Lutheran Church Council and the Lincoln County Feeder and Ranchers Association.
?Gengenbach was preceded in death by: his parents, Bill and Martha; a sister, Laura.
?Survivors include: his wife, Delores of Brady; a son, William L. “Bill” Gengenbach of Brady; a daughter, Nyla Jean (Steve) Fenster of Lincoln; sister, LaRue (Henry) Roether of Lexington; numerous nieces and nephews.
