Terry Fritz, 58 - April 02, 2008


Terry William Fritz, 58, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at his home in Farnam.
Services were held Friday, March 28, at the Farnam United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tess Hufford officiating. Burial took place at the Farnam Cemetery.
Fritz was born April 16, 1949, to Earl and Jean (Gugelman) Fritz at Lexington. The family lived at Orafino until 1966 when they moved to Farnam.
He graduated from Farnam High School in 1967. After graduation, he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for two years, then served in the United States Marines from 1970-72.
Following his discharge from the Marines, he lived in Denver, CO, Cheyenne, WY, and Houston, TX, working in construction.
On Feb. 14, 1976, he was united in marriage to Vicki Minges at Houston. To this union, two sons were born, Jeremy William and Joshua Earl.
In 1979, he and his family moved to Farnam where he owned and operated Fritz Construction.
Fritz was a member of the EUB Church of Orafino.
He enjoyed hard work and gardening as well as his family and his dog, Pepper, according to family members.
?Fritz was preceded in death by: his son, Jeremy; his father, Earl; sister-in-law, Shawn Poorman; a niece, Kacy Taylor; great nephew, Keegan Taylor; grandparents.
?Survivors include: his wife, Vicki of Farnam; his son, Joshua of Indianapolis, IN; his mother, Jean Fritz of North Platte, father and mother-in-law, Bill and Shirley Minges of Farnam; four sisters—Vicki Fritz of Potomac Falls, VA, Connie (Larry) Taylor of Moorefield, Denise (Stan) Reed of Oak Harbor, WA, and Tonya (Tony) Hergenrader of North Platte; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Farnam Cemetery.
