Diana Vieselmeyer, 60 - April 30, 2008


Diana L. Vieselmeyer, 60, of Omaha, died Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Omaha.
Memorial Services were held Monday, April 28, at Peace Presbyterian Church in Elkhorn. A private family interment took place.
Vieselmeyer was born on Dec. 29, 1947, at Scottsbluff. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School and attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, receiving a bachelor degree in education.
She taught business classes at Omaha South High, Millard South High and Elkhorn Senior High Schools for a total of 12 years. Her favorite subject to teach was accounting, according to family members.
Vieselmeyer then entered the corporate world and became a project manager for ACI. She was a co-founder of Coyote Software which was later sold to CSG Systems International.
She later formed her own company, New Dimensions, for computer technology consulting and worked as an independent consultant for the accounting firm, Frankel Zacharia.
Vieselmeyer was also vice-president of Charter Homes, Inc. and worked side-by-side with her husband, Glenn, who was a native of Gothenburg.
?She was an active member of Peace Presbyterian Church, served on the board of the Women’s Fund of Greater Omaha and was a member of Omaha Network.
?Vieselmeyer enjoyed her family, golf, traveling, entertaining and roses, according to family members.
Survivors include: her husband, Glenn Vieselmeyer of Omaha, formerly of Gothenburg; a daughter, Tammy (Lynn) Lohrman of Omaha; grandchildren—Bailey and Sydney Young; her mother, Marge Stricker of Omaha; brother, Richard (Linda) Stricker of Omaha; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Association, Women’s Fund of Greater Omaha and Peace Presbyterian Church.
