GED classes to be offered in Gothenburg

The Central Community College Adult Education Program sponsors the classes, which are open to the people who are at least 16 years old, aren’t currently enrolled in school and who want to earn a Nebraska high school diploma.

Students will receive help in preparing for the five GED exams in mathematics, reading, science, social studies and writing.

The classes would meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays at the American Lutheran Church, 1512 Ave. G. Students should use the west entrance.

All students must preregister and pay a $20 registration fee. A fee also is charged for each GED test.

For more information or to preregister, contact Adult Education Coordinator Marilynn Hersh at 308-324-8483; toll-free at 1-877-222-0780, ext. 8483; or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
