Camp participants: The Gothenburg High School cheerleaders recently participated in a private UCA Cheer camp at the school. Cheerleaders worked on jumping skills, cheers, chants and dances during the two-day event. Six girls tried out for UCA All American and three were selected that included Kennedy Wahlgren, Carlin Daharsh and Lauren Andres. The squad also participated in the UNK Cheer Extravaganza at the University of Nebraska at Kearney May 29-June1 and performed at the Shrine Bowl in Kearney on June 1.
