Some people are attracted to Gothenburg Memorial Hospital’s annual health fair for free food.
Others come to see what vendors or speakers have to offer.
There also people who attend to pick up results of blood tests done the week before the event.
GMH officials are offering their annual blood draw this week and it’s not too late to sign up.
The hospital’s health fair will be Saturday, April 2, from 8 a.m.-noon at the Wellness Center.
Deb Saum, GMH lab supervisor, said the blood draw is a great opportunity for someone to see how they are doing health wise.
Saum said participants can have a chemistry profile test which analyzes such things as kidney and liver function, the presence of electrolytes and proteins and a person’s cholesterol level and overall wellness check.
