Pooch parade seemingly smooth
Except for a few snarls and escapees.
The annual pooch parade at Ehmen Park got off without a hitch Thursday—just a few growls and a couple of runaway dogs.
The event kicked off the 2010 Harvest Festival.
First-place choice for the judges in the large dog category was Jax Rickertsen and Cooper. Second place was Anna Cooper and Coca and third place went to Brett Mazour and Katie.
Judges’ choice of small dogs was Ben Headley and Cade, first; Sam and Jack Aden and Daisy, second; and Senyi Baca and J.C., third.

Wiggliest tail—1. Joey Headley and Jasper, 2. Christian and Sydney Houchin and Rocket and Jamie and Sean Graff and Duke.
Best dressed—1. Tru Taliaferro and Ace, 2. Shelby Headley and Molly, 3. Emma Jorgenson and Enzo.
Saddest look—1. Kole Ronning and Miley, 2. Brianna Richey and Mika, 3. Brodee Gugelman and Chester.
Silliest ears—1. Dillon Larson and Blue, Presley Williams and Mac and Damion Fochtman and Joker.
Best smile—1. Hayley Stevens and Bo, 2. Austin Schlake and Tonka, 3. Max and Wes Jinks and Rosie.
Wiggliest tail—1. Harlie Schram and Maryn McNally, Guss, 2. Abby Johnson and Fuzzy and Cynthia Goad and Angel Marie.
